Job summary

Forward City Church in Columbia, SC is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance, operation, and improvement of all church buildings, grounds, and assets. You will lead small remodeling efforts, coordinate with contractors, schedule preventive maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and supervise contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance and repairs.
• Lead remodeling and renovation projects, coordinating design, budgeting, and scheduling with leadership.
• Coordinate facility set-up and breakdown for special events (conferences, services).
• Recruit, train, and manage maintenance staff and volunteers; maintain records of schedules, work orders, and projects.
