Job summary

CRS is seeking a Specialist I, Church Engagement to support training and engagement resources for advancing its mission through fundraising, community giving programs and advocacy with US church partners and volunteers.

The role involves creating educational materials, engaging students, and maintaining tracking tools to analyze volunteer activities. Travel up to 10% may be required as part of outreach and program support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum five years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with fundraising or related initiatives.
• Professional experience within Catholic Church structures and culture.

Responsibilities

• Create educational and training resources to mobilize parish-based volunteers in fundraising, awareness raising and advocacy.
• Support development and implementation of engagement resources for students to integrate CRS resources into activities.
• Maintain volunteer engagement tracking tools and provide routine analyses.
• Enhance CRS content on church communications channels through research and sharing resources.
• Use data systems to capture and report activities.
