Job summary

The Global Orphan Project’s CarePortal platform mobilizes local churches to support children in crisis across the United States. The Church Engagement Specialist will manage a defined portfolio of churches, serving as the primary day-to-day contact and driving ongoing engagement and retention mainly through virtual communication.

You will monitor activity, guide churches through established processes, and collaborate with CRM and Platform Support to ensure timely responses and scalable

Qualifications

• Experience engaging diverse faith communities and denominations.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills for virtual training.
• Able to guide customers through structured processes.
• High attention to detail with strong follow-through.
• Comfort with virtual training environments and technology.
• Balance efficiency with a positive customer experience.
• Experience with CRM systems and office tools preferred.
• Follow defined processes while identifying improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage a defined portfolio of churches, providing consistent communication and support.
• Monitor activity and proactively engage churches to increase participation.
• Reinforce behaviors that lead to sustained engagement and requests met.
• Maintain strong relationships through ongoing communication with churches.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for questions, guidance, and support.
• Resolve most customer issues directly in a timely manner; coordinate with Platform Support for technical issues.
• Monitor engagement metrics and identify opportunities to increase usage.
• Help churches set goals and improve response activity; encourage meaningful connection stories.
• Follow engagement processes and provide feedback to improve tools and playbooks.
• Receive new churches from Onboarding and stay aware of Network Development activities.
• Ensure accurate CRM tracking and participate in strategy meetings to solve issues.
• Support response team development and drive timely church responses.
