Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to provide specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. The role includes evaluations, custom splinting, and developing recovery plans in an outpatient setting.

The candidate will supervise OTAs and students, collaborate with hand surgeons, and fabricate orthoses for post-surgical and injury rehabilitation. A bachelor’s degree is required, with DPT/OT preferred and CPR/BLS current.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• DPT or DOT preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• 3+ years of upper-extremity rehab and outpatient therapy.
• Current state PT or OT license.
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate patient’s condition and establish care plan.
• Provide therapeutic interventions for hand/upper-extremity conditions.
• Document delivery of Occupational Therapy services.
• Direct/ supervise OTAs, students, and support personnel.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom orthoses and splints.
• Educate patients on orthosis wear, care, and precautions.
• Treat orthopedic, traumatic, burn, tendon, nerve, and postoperative cases.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons and other therapists; participate in team care planning.
