Job summary

Norman Regional Health System seeks a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to provide specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. The role includes patient evaluation, custom splinting, and developing recovery plans in collaboration with hand surgeons and therapists.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree, a current PT or OT license, and CHT credential; 3+ years in upper-extremity rehab.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in upper-extremity rehabilitation and outpatient therapy.
• Current state PT or OT license and CHT credential.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and establish plans of care.
• Provide hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder rehabilitation.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and educate about custom orthoses and splints.
• Directs and supervises OTAs, students and support personnel.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons, orthopedic physicians, and other therapists.
• Document delivery of OT/PT services.
• Return-to-work rehabilitation as appropriate.
