We are currently seeking an early career Chromatography Sales Solutions Specialist who will work with the Account Manager to maintain and support the Southern California territories by meeting and exceeding sales, gross profit, and unit goals.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To
  • Provide technical support and respond to inquiries (internet chats, phone calls, web inquiries, emails) by providing product recommendations, troubleshooting support, preparing quotes, and assisting with orders.
  • Understand and recognize customer analytical methods across multiple industries and provide technical solutions for assay development. Support routine and complex testing to ensure timely product delivery.
  • Utilize CRM, ERP, ticketing, and chat software to document interactions and support customers effectively.
  • Meet or exceed territory and regional sales goals and KPIs.
  • Perform other duties as requested by customers and management.
The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Life Science such as Chemistry, Biology, or a similar discipline.
  • Some exposure to chromatography via academic or professional experience. Sample prep experience is a plus.
  • At least one year of customer service or sales experience with strong selling abilities. Life Sciences or Biotech industry experience preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, high energy, articulate, with a passion for supporting clients and working cooperatively in a team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database management; ability to multi-task and work in a team environment.
Additional Requirements
  • Ability to work remotely. Reside in Torrance, Los Angeles, San Diego, Anaheim, or Irvine, CA.

Phenomenex offers comprehensive benefits including health care, paid time off, and 401(k). This position is eligible for remote work arrangements.

The salary range is $70,000-$75,000 annually, with potential bonuses/incentives. Compensation may vary based on experience and company discretion.
