Job summary

The Boston Beer Company is seeking a motivated Co-op to join its Research & Development Quality Assurance team at the Boston Brewery in Jamaica Plain, MA. The role focuses on chromatography and quality testing with daily laboratory work and data entry.

You will gain hands-on experience with GC/LC, brewing science, fermentation analysis, and GMP-compliant operations under the guidance of experienced scientists during a six-month program running January 4, 2027, through June 25, 2027.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a science degree in a related field.
• Must be 21+ and enrolled after the co-op.
• Co-op requires wet lab experience and GC/LC familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Support chromatography and QA labs with daily testing.
• Assist with sample prep, data entry, and recordkeeping in QA databases.
• Participate in GMP audits and maintain lab safety and organization.
• Work closely with scientists and managers with coaching.
