Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Field Service Engineer II to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair sophisticated analytical instrumentation across a multi-state territory, with primary focus on ICP-OES, ICP-MS, IC and HPLC systems.

You will collaborate with customers in research, industrial, environmental and pharmaceutical labs to maximize instrument performance and minimize downtime, travel 50% within Nebraska and adjacent states, and follow safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Chemistry, Engineering, Electronics, Physics, or a related scientific or technical field.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair analytical instrumentation (ICP-OES, ICP-MS, IC, HPLC).
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, fluidic, and software issues and provide solutions.
• Perform preventive maintenance and system upgrades per procedures.
