Job summary

The Salvation Army Wichita distribution center is seeking a full-time, temporary coordinator to organize space, direct volunteers, and assist with the distribution and movement of gifts during the Christmas program. Responsibilities include setting up space, directing volunteers during loading/unloading, moving gifts, and assisting with distribution and post-event move-out.

Working conditions include a warehouse environment with some weekend/evening work; 40 hours/week for six weeks from 11/2/26

Experience: Warehouse experience preferred

Supervisory Responsibility: Volunteers

Physical Requirements:Include speaking, hearing and vision ability; walking, bending, and squatting; manual dexterity; lifting, pulling and pushing materials up to 25 lbs.; standing up to eight hours per day. Travel: None

Driving: Must possess a valid driver's license from the state of residence. Must be approved through The Salvation Army Fleet Safety Program to drive either a Salvation Army or personal vehicle on Salvation Army business.

Working Conditions:Work is performed in typical warehouse setting; some weekend and evening work required.
