Job summary

The Salvation Army in Wichita seeks a Warehouse Volunteer Coordinator to support its Christmas program distribution center. You will organize space, guide volunteers, and help move gifts around the distribution site to ensure smooth operations.

Role requires coordinating volunteers, assisting with loading/unloading, and helping with distribution and site teardown. This is a temporary, 40-hour-per-week role with weekend/evening shifts and a focus on teamwork within a faith-based organization.

• Set up and maintain Christmas program distribution space

Supervisory Responsibility: Volunteers

Physical Requirements:Include speaking, hearing and vision ability; walking, bending, and squatting; manual dexterity; lifting, pulling and pushing materials up to 25 lbs.; standing up to eight hours per day. Travel: None

Driving: Must possess a valid driver's license from the state of residence. Must be approved through The Salvation Army Fleet Safety Program to drive either a Salvation Army or personal vehicle on Salvation Army business.

Working Conditions:Work is performed in typical warehouse setting; some weekend and evening work required.
