Brite Nites in Newark, NJ is seeking a Christmas Lighting Installer for the 2026 season. This full-time seasonal role involves outdoor installation on homes and commercial buildings, often on ladders or roofs, in cold, wet, or snowy conditions.

Expect 10+ hour days, 6 days a week during peak season, with biweekly pay and paid training. You'll work in 2-person crews, gain hands-on experience, and may receive housing assistance if you’re from out of area.

We're currently hiring seasonal Lighting Technicians for our 2026 season.

About the role

What the work is actually like (read this carefully):

• You’ll be outside all day in cold, rain, and sometimes snow
• 10+ hour days, 6 days a week during peak season
• You’ll be on ladders and roofs daily – if you’re not comfortable at heights, this isn’t the right fit
• The work is physical – climbing, carrying equipment, repetitive overhead work
• The season is compressed: ~3‑4 months of intense work (potential for extended season)
