Job summary

Brite Nites is hiring seasonal Lighting Technicians for the 2026 season in Los Angeles, CA. You’ll install Christmas lighting on homes and commercial buildings as part of a two-person crew, working outdoors in cold, rain, and sometimes snow.

Training is provided and housing assistance may be available for out-of-area candidates. Expect long days and a physical workload with ladders and roofs, and a schedule that runs six days a week during peak season.

We're currently hiring seasonal Lighting Technicians for our 2026 season.

About the role

What the work is actually like (read this carefully):

• You’ll be outside all day in cold, rain, and sometimes snow
• 10+ hour days, 6 days a week during peak season
• You’ll be on ladders and roofs daily — if you’re not comfortable at heights, this isn’t the right fit
• The work is physical — climbing, carrying equipment, repetitive overhead work
• The season is compressed: ~3‑4 months of intense work (potential for extended season)

Pay: $1,200 – $1,800 per week depending on experience and role

Schedule: Full‑time seasonal, training starts September 2026

Training: Provided — no prior Christmas lighting experience needed

What you’ll do
