Job Details: Job Location: KT-Memphis Area Command - Memphis, TN 38105, Position Type: Seasonal Full Time, Education Level: High School Diploma/GED, Salary Range: $19.00, Travel Percentage: Greater than 50%, Job Shift: Any, Schedule/Hours: Seasonal Monday - Friday (36.25 hours per week)

This position is responsible for:

Drives Salvation Army vehicle to transport bell ringers to and from kettle locations; transports kettles and supplies to kettle locations to meet kettle workers; picks up kettles at end of shift to bring back to kettle headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

• Drives Salvation Army vehicle to transport bell ringers to and from kettle locations.
• Transports kettles and supplies to kettle locations to meet kettle workers and/or volunteers; picks up kettles at end of shift to bring back to kettle headquarters. Maintains cleanliness of truck and/or van inside and outside.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• Ability to meet attendance requirements.
• Ability to read and communicate the English language.
• Ability to operate commercial equipment.
• Ability to exert the physical energy required to performing duties given.
• Ability to perform continuous stooping, standing and climbing as well as lift and carry and/or push/pull moderate (25-50 lbs) and possibly heavy (50-100 lbs) materials and donations.
• Work is performed outside in a wide variety of weather conditions in addition to various traffic conditions. Dressing appropriately is important for comfort.
