Job summary

The Salvation Army in Plymouth, MI is seeking a Christmas driver to deliver and pick up bell ringers and kettles on an assigned route, with seasonal driving responsibilities as needed. You will keep vehicles clean, maintain mileage logs, and communicate issues to your supervisor.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED (preferred) and at least 18 years old. A valid drivers license with chauffeur endorsement and completion of Safe From Harm training are required; basic computer skills

• Maintain vehicle(s), being sure it is cleaned and prepared for next use
• Keep accurate maintenance and mileage logs, report any safety or maintenance needs for the vehicle
• Communicate any problems to supervisor
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or GED (preferred), or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
• At least 18 years old

Computer Skills

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
• Basic computer knowledge

Certificates and Licenses

• Must have and maintain a valid drivers' license with a chauffeur's endorsement and pass The Salvation Army Motor Vehicle (MVR) check
• Complete Safe From Harm training, and keep current as needed
