Job summary

The Salvation Army in Mount Clemens, MI, is seeking a Christmas driver to deliver and pick up bell ringers and kettles on assigned routes, supporting holiday fundraising efforts.

You will maintain vehicles, keep logs, and report safety or maintenance issues to your supervisor. A valid driver's license with chauffeur endorsement and Safe From Harm training are required. This seasonal role offers part-time hours during the busy season.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with a chauffeur's endorsement.
• Pass The Salvation Army MVR check.
• Complete Safe From Harm training.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick-up bell ringers and kettles on an assigned route
• Maintain vehicle(s), being sure it is cleaned and prepared for next use
• Keep accurate maintenance and mileage logs, report any safety or maintenance needs for the vehicle
• Communicate any problems to supervisor
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Deliver and pick-up bell ringers and kettles on an assigned route
• Maintain vehicle(s), being sure it is cleaned and prepared for next use
• Keep accurate maintenance and mileage logs, report any safety or maintenance needs for the vehicle
• Communicate any problems to supervisor
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or GED (preferred), or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
• At least 18 years old

Computer Skills:

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
• Basic computer knowledge

Certificates and Licenses:

• Must have and maintain a valid drivers' license with a chauffeur's endorsement and pass The Salvation Army Motor Vehicle (MVR) check
• Complete Safe From Harm training, and keep current as needed
