Christian Care Assisted Living in Muskegon, MI is seeking an experienced Assisted Living Facility Supervisor to oversee daily operations on the 3rd shift. This full-time role emphasizes staffing, staff support, and a safe, respectful environment for residents and team members.

You will lead caregiving staff, ensure policy compliance, coach new hires, manage after-hours coverage, and coordinate with Nursing, HR, Scheduling and Administration to meet resident needs, and handle incident reporting

Formación

• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Experience in Assisted Living, long-term care, or healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight to Assisted Living staff.
• Support staffing coverage and respond to call-ins, schedule changes, and operational needs.
• Ensure employees follow established policies, procedures, and resident care expectations.
• Address employee concerns and performance issues appropriately and elevate to leadership or HR when needed.
• Assist with coaching, training, and onboarding new employees.
• Monitor resident care needs and communicate concerns to the appropriate clinical or leadership team.
• Promote teamwork, professionalism, accountability, and respectful communication.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
• Assist with investigations, incident follow-up, and corrective action documentation when appropriate.
• Maintain a visible leadership presence throughout the facility.
• Support emergency and after-hours needs as assigned.
• Work collaboratively with Nursing, HR, Scheduling, Administration, and other departments.

Description

Christian Care Assisted Living is seeking an experienced, dependable, and resident-focused Assisted Living Facility Supervisor to support the daily operations of our Assisted Living community.

This role is responsible for helping ensure appropriate staffing, supporting employees, maintaining strong communication across shifts, and promoting a safe, respectful, and well-organized environment for both residents and staff.

Schedule: 3rd Shift

Employment Status: Full-Time

Location: Christian Care Assisted Living, Muskegon, MI

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
• Experience in Assisted Living, long-term care, healthcare, or a related setting strongly preferred
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong judgment, reliability, and follow-through
• Comfortable holding employees accountable while maintaining a supportive leadership approach
• Basic computer and documentation skills
• Must meet all applicable employment, background, health, and facility requirements
