Job summary

Lionheart Children's Academy in Irving, TX seeks an Early Childhood Teacher to plan, organize, and implement developmentally appropriate, Christ-centered programs. Compliance with state licensing, NAC standards, CACFP meal procedures, and Lionheart policies is essential.

You will engage families, supervise children with sight and sound, and adapt activities for diverse learning needs while modeling faith-based values. A high school diploma or GED is required, with CDA/AA/BA preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Meets state minimum standards for Early Childhood Lead/Assistant Teacher; CDA/AA/BA in ECE preferred.
• Experience in a licensed child care facility; background check required.
• Spiritual alignment with a Christ-centered environment.
• Ability to build meaningful relationships with children, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver activities supporting spiritual, social, emotional, and academic development.
• Supervise children by sight and sound and maintain required ratios.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and age-appropriate learning environment and follow health/safety practices.
• Follow licensing, NAC, CACFP standards and Lionheart policies.
• Engage families with daily communication and share progress; collaborate with co-teachers.
• Assist with housekeeping, laundry, and restocking supplies as needed; be flexible to serve across ages.
