Job summary

Faith Life Church is seeking a part-time Christ-centered Music Teacher for its Guardian Academy program. You will develop students' musical skills, prepare lesson plans, teach music theory, and guide performances while modeling Christian character in a supportive classroom.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education and current Ohio teaching license.
• At least one year of teaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of music theory and ability to teach it to students.
• Experience teaching multiple instruments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare music lessons aligned with curriculum.
• Teach music theory, aural skills, and practical techniques.
• Instruct students on using different musical instruments.
• Assess students’ progress and provide feedback in reports.
• Maintain classroom discipline and adapt to curriculum changes.
• Organize school concerts and supervise performances.
• Communicate with parents and staff about student progress.
