Job summary

The Bolles School is seeking a dedicated choral educator to lead middle and upper school choirs (grades 6–12) and direct annual concerts. You will shape vocal technique, literacy, and performance through engaging curriculum and inclusive repertoire.

You will also serve as Musical Director for school productions, support assemblies, and collaborate with Fine Arts faculty while partnering with Admissions to boost recruitment through performances and community events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in music or related field.
• Experience teaching choral music to middle/upper school students preferred.
• Strong conducting, vocal pedagogy, and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach and conduct middle and upper school choral ensembles for grades 6–12.
• Develop engaging curriculum focused on vocal technique, music literacy, and performance skills.
• Direct concerts, performances, and special events throughout the school year.
• Select developmentally appropriate and inclusive choral repertoire.
• Serve as Musical Director for school productions.
• Support school assemblies and special events as needed.
• Collaborate with Fine Arts faculty and participate fully in school life.
• Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
• Partner with Admissions to support recruitment and enrollment efforts through performances, events, and community engagement.
