Job summary

The Bolles School in Jacksonville, FL seeks a dynamic Choral Director to teach and conduct middle and upper school ensembles for grades 6–12. You will develop engaging curriculum focused on vocal technique, music literacy, and performance skills.

You will direct concerts, champion inclusive repertoire, and collaborate with Fine Arts staff while supporting assemblies, school life, and admissions recruitment through performances and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in music, music education, choral conducting, or a related field.
• Experience teaching choral music to middle and/or upper school students preferred.
• Strong conducting, vocal pedagogy, and classroom management skills.
• Piano proficiency and ability to support rehearsals musically.
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to student growth and artistic excellence at The Bolles School.
