Job summary

Mars Wrigley in Elizabethtown, PA is seeking a Machine Operator to support the Dove chocolate manufacturing site. Beginning pay is $24.10 per hour plus a $1.50 shift premium, with a 3rd shift (Night) schedule and 12‑hour shifts in the near term.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1+ year manufacturing experience, and MS Office proficiency. Responsibilities include operating equipment, changeovers, QA checks, and maintenance coordination.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent education
• 1+ years’ experience in manufacturing
• Proficiency in MS Office and e-mail

Responsibilities

• Performs activities and job tasks within a manufacturing line or area
• Operates equipment and changeovers in a safe and efficient manner
• Takes corrective actions in solving problems to root cause level
• Able to assess equipment operating reliability and perform routine repairs, adjustments, and malfunction troubleshooting
• Performs and/or works with Maintenance to complete equipment preventative maintenance (PM)
• Performs quality control (QC) tasks such as metal checks, inspection of date codes, item numbers, dump logs, etc.
• Maintain accurate records of quality check and keeps detailed logbooks
• Any ad hoc tasks
