Job summary

The Joint Chiropractic is seeking a Doctor of Chiropractic to join our franchisee network in Charleston, SC. This role offers full- or part-time hours with a flexible schedule, coupled with a generous base pay and potential bonuses within an above-market compensation package.

You will diagnose, educate, and deliver maintenance care in a patient-focused setting, promoting wellness and routine self-pay chiropractic services for improved quality of life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college is required.
• Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited chiropractic college is required.
• Passing scores for NBCE Parts I–IV are required; Part IV alternative acceptable.
• Must have a valid DC license in the applicable state.
• Must be fully eligible for malpractice insurance in the applicable state.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients by reviewing health and medical histories, questioning, observing and examining patients, and reviewing x-rays as indicated.
• Evaluate patients’ neuromusculoskeletal systems and spine using chiropractic diagnosis to determine conditions.
• Perform manual adjustments to the spine or other articulations to correct the musculoskeletal system where necessary.
• Educate patients on the benefits of routine chiropractic care and provide a recommended course of treatment.
• Maintain accurate case histories and records of patients; obtain and record medical histories as indicated.
• Arrange for diagnostic x-rays when medically necessary and analyze them to locate sources of difficulties and rule out fractures or diseases.

Education

Bachelor’s degree from accredited college

Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited chiropractic college

Passing scores for Parts I, II, III and IV from NBCE

NBCE SPEC exam acceptable alternative for Part IV

Valid DC license in applicable state

Fully eligible for Malpractice Insurance in applicable state

Qualifications needed:

• 4-year Bachelor’s degree from accredited college


• A Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited chiropractic college


• Passing scores for Parts I,II,III and IV from NCBE


• A recent NBCE SPEC exam is acceptable alternative for Part IV


• Valid DC license in applicable state


• Fully eligible for Malpractice Insurance in applicable state
