Qualifications

Job Overview

We are a well-established chiropractic wellness center seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Medical Billing Specialist to join our team part-time.The ideal candidate has experience with chiropractic billing, insurance claims, payment posting, and accounts receivable management.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assign CPT codes and ICD-10 diagnosis codes for chiropractic procedures
• Prepare and submit clean claims to insurance companies and third-party payers
• Post insurance and patient payments accurately
• Manage accounts receivable and collections follow-up
• Review and correct claim denials and rejections
• Stay current with updates in medical coding regulations, insurance policies, and industry best practices to ensure compliance
• Communicate professionally with insurance companies and patients as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of medical billing experience is prefered
• Chiropractic billing experience strongly prefered
• Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and insurance claim processing
• Experience with payment posting and A/R follow-up
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
