Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit accurate medical insurance claims.
• Review claims for errors and missing information.
• Post insurance and patient payments.
• Follow up on unpaid, rejected, or denied claims.
• Communicate with insurance companies regarding claim status and payment issues.
• Maintain accurate patient billing records.
• Assist patients with billing questions and account balances.
• Monitor outstanding accounts and accounts receivable.
• Correct billing discrepancies and resubmit claims as needed.
• Provide additional administrative support to the chiropractic office.

This position is ideal for an experienced medical billing professional who is organized, accurate, and comfortable working with insurance companies, patient accounts, and billing records in a busy healthcare environment.

Medical Biller Compensation & Benefits:

• $22 per hour
• Medical, dental, and vision insurance offered through O2 Employment Services
