Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Chipset/Program Manager in San Diego to lead digital IC/HW/SW plan of record, budgets, milestones, and interdepartmental alignment. The role interfaces with internal and external stakeholders across functions to ensure on-time delivery.

The candidate will manage POR, schedules, and risk, while coordinating worldwide design centers and contractors. Requires semiconductor PM experience and leadership with a proven track record in chip programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 4+ years of Program Management or related work experience.
• 2+ years with digital SOC and/or mixed-signal baseband and/or RF chips in a chipset program management role.
• Experience interacting with senior leadership (VP level and above) is required.
• 1+ years in a medium-to-large matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Establish Plan of Record (POR) and synchronize roadmaps across multiple development teams.
• Develop execution schedules including staffing needs and interdependencies.
• Coordinate department schedules, resources, and program master plans; lead design reviews.
• Provide regular program updates and risk mitigation strategies to stakeholders.
• Develop program indicators; present at monthly reviews and align with cross-functional teams.
• Interface with contracts, legal, design, manufacturing, and product support to manage priorities.
• Lead interdepartmental meetings to set milestones and allocate resources.
• Monitor progress with risk tracking and contingency planning; communicate status to executives.
