Job summary

FAS Localize is seeking skilled linguists to translate and post-edit Chinese content into Vietnamese for ecommerce, gaming, manufacturing and legal clients. You will handle Simplified and Traditional sources, flag regional terms, and ensure consistent terminology with glossaries and TM.

Ideal candidates are native Vietnamese with strong Chinese knowledge and experience using a CAT tool, able to deliver accurate, culturally natural translations for complex terminology.

Qualifications

• Native Vietnamese with HSK 5 or equivalent Chinese.
• At least 2 years of professional Chinese to Vietnamese translation.
• Working knowledge of a CAT tool.

Job description

Translate and post-edit Chinese content into Vietnamese for e-commerce, gaming, manufacturing and legal clients.

Chinese to Vietnamese is one of our strongest pairs and one of the hardest to staff well. We need linguists who can handle both Simplified and Traditional sources, recognize when a Sino-Vietnamese term reads as stiff, and keep product and legal terminology exact.

What you will do

• Keep terminology consistent using the project TM and glossary.
• Suggest natural Vietnamese for culturally loaded names, slogans and idioms.

What you bring

Nice to have

• Game or e-commerce localization experience.
• Legal or manufacturing terminology in both languages.
