Job summary

NSA's MDLA program seeks linguists to perform analysis, translation, and interpretation of foreign language materials in support of SIGINT. The LADP offers structured training and multiple operational tours to accelerate skill development.

Applicants should have ILR level 2/2 in reading/listening for the target language and a degree in any field. This is a full-time, on-site position with comprehensive NSA benefits and security requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum ILR 2/2 reading/listening in target language (Chinese).
• Degree in any field acceptable; relevant experience in analysis or language work.
• Experience in translation, transcription, or intelligence analysis preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, transcribe, and translate foreign language materials for SIGINT.
• Explain findings through written and oral assessments for policymakers.
• Collaborate with partners and other analysts across the IC.
• Mentor and guide junior analysts where applicable.
