Job summary

NSA's Linguists, known as Multidisciplined Language Analysts (MDLAs), are sought for positions supporting a SIGINT mission. The role requires ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening for Chinese, with opportunities through LADP or direct hire into analytic offices.

Assignments include multiple operational tours, rigorous training, and collaboration with partners across the Intelligence Community to produce assessments and deliver insights for policymakers and military leaders.

Qualifications

• ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening for target language (Chinese).
• Degree in any field; 1+ year relevant experience (language or analytic).
• Entry to Full Performance paths with increasing experience requirements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, transcribe, and translate foreign language materials for SIGINT.
• Work independently and with partners across the IC to support missions.
• Apply analytic skills to develop insights and deliver reports.
• Mentor and coach other language analysts and ensure quality control.
• Participate in rotation tours and training within the LADP or analytic offices.
• Maintain proficiency and stay current on language and tech trends.
