Job summary

NSA is seeking linguists (Multidisciplined Language Analysts) to support the SIGINT mission, offering pathways through the Language Analysis Development Program (LADP) or direct hire. Candidates should have ILR 2/2 in reading and listening, and be capable of translation, transcription, or analytic work.

MDLAs engage across the Intelligence Community, solving analytic problems and developing language capabilities. Training includes rotations and on-the-job assignments within NSA offices.

Qualifications

• Minimum proficiency of ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening in the target language.
• A degree in any field is acceptable.
• Experience in language work such as translation, transcription, or analysis is required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, transcribe, and translate key information for policymakers and leaders.
• Research cultures and geo-political contexts to inform intelligence.
• Apply new techniques to synthesize large data sets and disparate sources.
• Craft written and oral assessments with insights not available from other disciplines.
• Collaborate with NSA and other agencies to support the SIGINT mission.
