Job summary

NSA’s Linguists, known as Multidisciplined Language Analysts (MDLAs), are sought to join the Language Analysis Development Program or direct-hire positions supporting analytic missions. LADP offers intensive training with multiple operational tours and language skill development, not teaching a specific language.

Chinese proficiency is required and experience in analysis is valued. Candidates should be highly organized, able to manage multiple assignments, and possess strong written and verbal

Qualifications

• ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening for target language.
• Experience in language analysis, translation, transcription, or related fields.
• Ability to mentor and lead other analysts.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, transcribe, and translate foreign language materials.
• Engage with partners across the Intelligence Community to solve problems.
• Provide written and oral assessments and grow analytic competencies.
• Mentor, coach, and lead other Language Analysts; ensure mission health.
