Job summary

NSA is seeking Language Analysts to support the SIGINT mission, with pathways through the LADP or direct hire into analytic offices. A minimum ILR 2/2 in reading and listening for the target language is required, with a degree in any field and relevant analytic or language experience.

Responsibilities include translating, transcribing, and analyzing foreign language materials, researching cultural contexts, and producing written and oral assessments for policymakers and the IC.

Qualifications

• A degree in any field is acceptable.
• At least one year of relevant experience in language work or analytic fields.
• ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening for the target language.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, translate, transcribe, and translate key information from foreign language materials.
• Research cultures, geopolitical context, and how they fit in the IC.
• Apply new techniques to address analytic problems and synthesize data.
• Craft written and oral assessments for policymakers and analysts.
• Work independently and collaborate within NSA and the IC.
