Job summary

NSA's language analysts play a critical role in SIGINT by analyzing foreign language materials, transcribing, translating, and producing assessments. The LADP program offers intensive training and multiple operational tours to build core analytic capabilities.

Applicants must meet ILR language requirements and demonstrate strong problem-solving and communication skills. Selected candidates will work full-time in a secure environment, with rigorous testing and compliance procedures.

Qualifications

• A degree in any field is acceptable.
• ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening for the target language.
• Entry/Developmental or higher levels require specific experience as described.

Responsibilities

• Analyze foreign language materials and produce SIGINT reporting and development.
• Transcribe, translate, and interpret during analytic processes.
• Engage with partners, enablers, and customers across the Intelligence Community.
• Mentor, coach, and lead other Language Analysts as needed.
• Maintain high quality standards for language analysis and reporting.
• Adhere to security, testing, and DCIPS guidelines.
