Job summary

National Security Agency (NSA) is seeking Linguists (MDLAs) to support SIGINT missions. The role involves analyzing foreign language materials, translating and transcribing content, and producing analytic assessments.

You will operate in a fast-paced environment with multiple assignments and collaboration across IC partners. Applicants should have ILR 2/2 in reading/listening for Chinese, a bachelor’s degree, and relevant analytic experience.

Qualifications

• ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening for target language.
• Degree in any field accepted; relevant experience preferred.
• Experience in language analysis, translation, transcription, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, transcribe, and translate foreign language materials for SIGINT mission.
• Prepare written and oral assessments with insights not available from other disciplines.
• Engage with partners across the Intelligence Community and mentors others as needed.
• Maintain high-quality performance across multiple assignments and offices.
