Job summary

Lundbeck is seeking an Associate Director or Director, Search & Assessment, to drive the identification and advancement of China-originated opportunities, shaping Lundbeck's global neuroscience pipeline. You will lead scientific due diligences and build networks across biotech, VC, and academia in China.

This role requires an ability to navigate complex development stages, provide independent asset evaluations, and partner with Lundbeck's HQ CBD and China affiliates.

Qualifications

• PhD in life sciences or CNS-related MD (required).
• Experience evaluating neuroscience assets/assets and recommending decisions to HQ CBD.
• Strong scientific depth plus solid business judgment for reviews.
• BD experience in life sciences, especially in China region.
• Proven ability to build networks and source opportunities in China.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate neuroscience opportunities across R&D and commercial stages.
• Assess strategic fit, commercial potential, and technical quality of assets for decision-making.
• Lead BD opportunities with scientific and commercial attractiveness in China.
• Collaborate with HQ CBD and China teams on assessments and business cases.
• Build external network within China's biotech/VC/academic ecosystem.
