Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel in the United States is hiring a Warehouse Forklift Operator to move products throughout the site and load or unload materials using reach truck, order picker, sit-down forklift, or other heavy equipment.

You will report to a Supervisor and perform pre/post-operation checks, receive materials, and follow OSHA and company safety policies while working in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of recent experience operating all three forklift types—order picker, reach truck, and sit‑down forklift—is required.
• Can lift up to 50 pounds.
• Can walk or stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Operate all three types of forklift equipment—order picker, reach truck, and sit‑down forklift—to load and unload trailers, pick orders, and move or store products throughout the warehouse.
• Verify and receive materials in inventory.
• Your responsibilities may include palletizing and shrink wrapping.
• Conduct pre-operation and post-operation equipment checks.
• Follow health and safety policies that comply with company and OSHA regulations.
• Perform other job responsibilities as assigned.
• Complete tasks in freezer and cold-storage areas as part of daily responsibilities.
