  • Work with management on implementing loss prevention programs and improving management of inventory.

As a Contract Logistics Warehouse Shipping Associate (3rd Shift at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. By doing so with precision, you not only contribute to the success of your team, but also to the day-to-day operations and success in the warehouse and distribution centres. For example, storing and delivering delicate flowers and fresh ingredients to local stores for everyday lunches and family celebrations. How you create impact

Depending on your assigned area, you will monitor inventory accuracy, investigate causes of inventory discrepancies, conduct cycle counts or physical inventory, or use Excel to maintain complex spreadsheets.


Essential Duties and Functions:


  • Operate Order Picker Lifter (PIT)

  • Reconcile inventory and coordinate inventory procedures

  • Implement programs to audit returns and move returned products to its proper location

  • Process documentation to create a prompt credit transaction

  • Conduct system searches to locate products

  • Perform weekly cycle counts and make system adjustments

  • Maintain accurate records to help facilitate shortage detection

  • Inspect and correct inventory diagnostics

  • Work with management on implementing loss prevention programs and improving management of inventory

  • Comfortable with walking and standing up to 8 hours per day during processing hours.

  • May be required to stack pallets and repeatedly lift-up to seventy-five (75) pounds.

  • Assist in other departments on a business need basis.

  • Other duties may be assigned due to business needs including overtime.
