Job summary

SureGlow Stove and Chimney is hiring a Sales Representative to serve homeowners in Cassville, Monett and the surrounding Barry County area. You will visit homes, inspect chimney and venting systems, explain findings and build estimates.

This field role keeps you in the home environment and you will be trained with a company vehicle provided. Starting pay is $35.00 per hour with 4% commission after 90 days, in addition to the hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, home services or a skilled trade.
• A strong communicator who builds trust quickly.
• Self-motivated and able to manage your own day in the field.
• Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
• Comfortable working at heights and in customers' homes.

Responsibilities

• Inspect chimneys, wood stoves, fireplaces, dryer vents and venting systems in customers' homes.
• Explain safety standards and maintenance needs to homeowners in plain language.
• Prepare and present written estimates for cleanings, repairs, installations and rebuilds.
• Close sales with a consultative approach. You are solving a safety problem, not pressuring anyone.
• Follow up with customers and build the relationships that lead to referrals and repeat business.
• Keep accurate records of inspections, photos and estimates.
