Job summary

Black Magic Chimney Sweeps is hiring a field-to-sales role in Southern Vermont. You will diagnose and explain chimney issues, present honest solutions, and close the work using pre-set in-home appointments.

Earn $20–$25/hour base with uncapped monthly commissions (2% up to $40K, 4% beyond). We train you and cover CSIA certification, with full-time, year-round hours and benefits including health insurance and PTO.

Qualifications

• Trade, home services, or customer-facing sales background.
• Comfortable with hand and power tools.
• Strong communication with customers and teammates.
• Composure under pressure.
• Valid driver's license and clean record.
• HS diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Conduct chimney and fireplace inspections; walk homeowners through findings.
• Prepare accurate estimates and close the work.
• Service pellet, wood, and gas hearth appliances.
• Communicate proactively with Ops and office staff on every job.
• Keep vehicles, tools, and equipment in working order.
• Follow OSHA and company safety standards — no shortcuts.
