Tiello is partnering with a well-established Mechanical Services Company to hire a Chiller Technician in Texas. You will perform hands-on work with chillers and related mechanical systems, delivering excellent on-site service and repairs.

Candidates should have 5–10+ years of experience, EPA Universal Certification, and a trade school background. Travel across the Bay Area and beyond may be required; company benefits include medical, 401K, and a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years hands-on experience with hydronics, boilers, chillers and mechanical systems.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Trade school background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on work with chillers and related mechanical systems.
• Deliver outstanding customer service during on-site visits and repairs.
• Manage workflow and assist with job scheduling and project tracking.
• Maintain a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Apply knowledge of building control systems to optimize performance and energy efficiency.
• Coordinate service and maintenance across the Bay Area and travel for projects as needed (in-state and out-of-state).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform hands-on work with chillers, and related mechanical systems.
• Deliver outstanding customer service during on-site visits and repairs.
• Manage workflow and assist with job scheduling and project tracking.
• Maintain a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• (Preferred) Apply knowledge of building control systems to optimize performance and energy efficiency.
• Coordinate service and maintenance activities across the Bay Area and travel for projects as needed (both in-state and out-of-state).

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5-10+ years of hands-on experience with hydronics, boilers, chillers, and mechanical systems.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• EPA Universal Certification certification required.
• Graduate of a trade school program (preferred).

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• Pay: $50-$65+/hr (depending on experience)
