Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in HVAC Chiller service issues preferred.
• Excellent customer service with a desire to exceed expectations.
• Ability to work independently and on call for emergencies.
• Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure the job is done correctly the first time
• Well-groomed, neat appearance
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Lift up to 50 pounds; be able to push, pull, carry, or maneuver heavier items (with additional manpower or appropriate devices); carry ladders; work from heights.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair chillers and HVAC systems for commercial and industrial customers.
• Diagnose and repair electronic and mechanical components.
• Document all work performed with attention to detail.
• Communicate to dispatch, parts procurement, supervisors, and managers, as needed, to keep the company and customers informed about work progressions.
• Be available to work limited nights or weekends, on a rotating basis, to service emergency needs of our customers.
• Participate in company-provided training opportunities on the latest industry technologies.

The key to this growth is having the best team in the industry! We are seeking an experienced Chiller Technician who wants to grow with the industry leader. The Chiller Tech conducts preventive maintenance, repair, installation, general servicing, and troubleshooting of mechanical HVAC systems. Responsible for high levels of customer satisfaction through direct, on-site, customer interface. Mentors peers on mechanical HVAC installation & service activities. Properly completes required project and service documentation.

We are currently seeking a qualified, experienced chiller technician to join our fast-growing applied chiller service team in the Central Texas (Austin) and surrounding area.

Main Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair chillers, boilers, cooling towers, and heating, ventilation, cooling units for both commercial and industrial customers. Diagnose and repair of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of these systems.
• Diagnose diverse service issues, obtain any replacement parts, calibrate system to manufacturers recommendations, and effectively explain to the customer the solutions.
• High-level attention to detail in documenting work performed.
• Communicate to dispatch, parts procurement, supervisors, and managers, as needed, to keep the company and customers informed about work progressions.
• Be available to work limited nights or weekends, on a rotating basis, to service emergency needs of our customers.
• Participate in company-provided training opportunities on the latest industry technologies.

Qualifications
