American Chiller Service, Inc. (ACS) is an independent large tonnage commercial air conditioning service company specializing in Turbocor, centrifugal, absorption, screw, and reciprocating chillers. We offer chiller and cooling tower service, maintenance, retrofit, rental, and new equipment installations.

With five branches in Northern California and Nevada—Rancho Cordova, San Leandro, Petaluma, Modesto, and Reno—ACS services pumps, cooling towers, variable frequency drives, refrigerant monitors, air handlers, and controls. We provide full-service rental chillers, air and water cooled equipment ranging from 3 to over 1000 tons.

Our staff is factory trained and services all major brands of chillers and cooling towers. ACS is a Daikin Service Alliance Provider, performing new equipment start-up and service in Northern California and Western Nevada.

Role Description

This full-time, on-site role in Greater Sacramento is for a Chiller Service Technician responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting chiller systems to ensure efficient operation and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HVAC systems and chiller equipment
• Experience in troubleshooting and repairing chiller systems
• Certification in chiller system maintenance and repair is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
