Harvard University seeks an experienced Chiller Operator to manage a central chilled water plant and related systems. You will monitor readings, perform maintenance, and ensure continuous operation aligned with safety and university guidelines.

The role requires a Refrigeration Technician license or higher and EPA CFC certification; a MA driver’s license is also mandatory. The position supports shift work and campus facilities operations.

Qualifikationen

• Five (5) years experience in the trade as a journeyman or operator.
• EPA CFC certification (universal) required within 6 months of hiring.
• Massachusetts driver’s license required.
• Current Refrigeration Technician license or Commonwealth of Massachusetts First-Class Fireman’s License or higher.

• Operates central chilled water plant under varying load conditions and maintains associated systems.
• Takes plant readings, logs, and enters data into computer systems for performance and billing.
• Performs preventive maintenance and inspections on equipment across HVAC and plant systems.
