Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking skilled HVAC technicians to support residential and ducted systems, air- and water-cooled chillers, AHUs, and rooftop units across North America. You will be involved from startup to after-market service, delivering solutions that improve facility efficiency.

You’ll write clear customer communications, prepare quotes, and participate in JCI’s STA training while prioritizing safety. A union-based pay structure applies, with travel up to 20% as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of practical experience with residential/ducted HVAC products and chillers.
• Experience with AHUs or Roof Top units and compressor/screw/chiller components is preferred.
• Strong HVAC/mechanical troubleshooting skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist startup, commissioning, and aftermarket service for HVAC systems.
• Provide solutions and recommendations to improve facility performance.
• Prepare quotes and support sales with customer-facing communications.
• Collaborate with local market mechanics and maintain safety standards.
