Job summary

Vantage is seeking a Critical Support Specialist to support our Santa-Clara, CA or Reno, NV campuses. The role is onsite Monday–Friday day shift with 15–20% travel across North America to client data centers.

You will work with a team of electrical and mechanical engineers, performing maintenance and repair on UPS, PDUs, diesel generators, ATS, and building controls to ensure uptime and safety. Extensive vendor collaboration is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in critical data center HVAC and electrical systems.
• Demonstrated maintenance and troubleshooting skills for complex equipment.
• Ability to travel 15–20% across North America and work onsite Monday–Friday.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure uninterrupted data center operations.
• Lead complex maintenance projects with minimal supervision.
• Respond to safety incidents and emergencies, maintaining a secure work environment.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.
