Job summary

Vantage Data Centers is seeking a Hands-on Chiller Tech-Engineer / Commercial-Industrial HVAC specialist for its Santa Clara, CA or Reno, NV campuses. The role focuses on maintaining critical data center infrastructure with a strong emphasis on chiller and HVAC systems.

The candidate will work onsite Monday to Friday day shifts, with 15-20% travel across North America. Expect collaboration with a skilled team to ensure uptime and top-tier customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years hands-on maintenance in mission-critical environments.
• Experience with low/high voltage, UPS, generators, HVAC and chillers.
• Ability to read schematics and operate preventive maintenance.
• Travel up to 15-20% within North America.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed maintenance, troubleshooting, and operations within area of expertise.
• Manage complex maintenance projects with minimal supervision.
• Respond to safety incidents and emergencies.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors.
