Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an assembler to support the build of chiller units for data centers and custom equipment. The role involves hands-on assembly using a variety of hand and power tools, with opportunities to expand into additional assembly areas as experience grows.

Responsibilities include following work instructions, reading blueprints, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. This is a contract-to-hire onsite role based in Dayton, MN with a competitive hourly pay and full health benefits

Qualifications

Experience in assembly
Proficiency with hand and power tools
Ability to read blueprints
Knowledge of electrical schematics and wiring
At least 1 year of manufacturing experience, preferably in sheet metal or mechanical

Responsibilities

Assemble chiller units for data center applications following work instructions and build specifications.
Use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Assist with general shop and production support duties, including sweeping and maintaining a clean work area, shrink wrapping and packaging materials or completed units, and material handling and clean-up to support other assemblers.
Work collaboratively with the assembly team to meet daily production goals.
Follow safety guidelines, quality standards, and company procedures.
Cross-train into additional areas over time, including custom unit assembly.
