Job summary

Nortek Data Center Cooling is seeking an Assembler I to build and assemble air units and parts per specifications. You will use hand and power tools to produce subassemblies or complete units, while aligning with tolerances and safety guidelines.

The role requires 1+ year in assembly, ability to read drawings, operate tools, and lift up to 50 lbs. A high school diploma is preferred; crane and forklift certification may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical courses preferred.
• Minimum 1 year assembly/construction experience.
• Able to be trained/certified to operate overhead crane and fork trucks.
• Able to operate hand and power tools; interpret drawings and specs.
• Must communicate in English; basic math skills helpful.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow blueprints, routers, and specs to assemble parts and equipment.
• Perform assembly tasks using hand or power tools.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team and management; support Lean initiatives.
