Job summary

Aerotek in Dayton, MN is hiring Mechanical Assemblers to build chiller and HVAC units for data centers. The role involves hands-on assembly with hand and power tools, following precise work instructions and build specifications.

We seek candidates with at least 1 year in manufacturing, ideally in sheet metal or mechanical industries, and a willingness to cross-train into additional areas over time.

Job Title: Mechanical Assembler for Chiller and HVAC Units

1st shift Monday through Thursday from 5:30 am to 3:00 pm and Friday from 6:00 am to 10:00 am. $22.17

2nd shift Monday through Thursday from 2:00 pm to 1:30 am. $24.17

Job Description

We are currently seeking assemblers to support the build of chiller units for data centers and custom equipment. This role involves hands‑on assembly using a variety of hand and power tools, along with general shop support to keep production moving efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assemble chiller units for data center applications following work instructions and build specifications.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Work collaboratively with the assembly team to meet daily production goals.
• Follow safety guidelines, quality standards, and company procedures.
• Cross-train into additional areas over time, including custom unit assembly.
• Proficiency in assembly using hand and power tools.
• At least 1+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in sheet metal or mechanical industries.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dayton, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.17 - $24.17/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
