Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company in Lexington, VA seeks an Assembler Technician to join the Chiller Assembly team. You will use prints, wiring diagrams, and CAD models to assemble copper and other metals, performing brazing to ensure system integrity and efficiency.

Shift: Mon-Fri 11pm-7am. Pay: $24.23 plus $1.50 shift differential. You will support safety, quality, and production schedule adherence while operating power tools, hoists, and fixtures on the production line.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Production assembly experience in a make-to-order environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret prints, wiring diagrams and CAD models to meet specs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble units according to customer specs using hand and power tools.
• Perform brazing for refrigeration and water circuits per print requirements.
• Perform high voltage, 3-phase wiring of electrical system.
• Measure, cut, fit, and insulate water piping assembly.
• Read blueprints, work instructions, and diagrams to build or modify units.
• Ensure completion of quality and production checklists and processes.
• Use Windows-based systems and CAD platforms to enter information; keep area tidy.
• Operate overhead hoists, hand trucks, and powered industrial vehicles when required.
