The YMCA Hoover Branch in Hoover, AL is seeking a part-time Childwatch Attendant to supervise and engage children in a safe, welcoming environment where learning and play thrive.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Passion for working with children of all ages.
• Positive, patient, energetic, and dependable attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lead activities while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
• Commitment to YMCA's mission and core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility.
• Ability to successfully complete required background and child abuse screenings.
• Ability to obtain First Aid, CPR/AED, and required YMCA certifications before the start date.
• Provide active supervision with constant line of sight and sound.
• Follow all YMCA childcare policies, safety procedures, and abuse risk management standards.

What You'll Be Doing
